I had met up with Maria and Phelim a month before their wedding for a pre wedding shoot, so I knew the kind of shots that the bride was looking for. Maria and Phelim had decided to have a church ceremony in St.Muirdeach’s cathedral in ballina, followed by the creative shots and reception in Belmullet at the Broadhaven Bay hotel. I did some bridal prep shots at the family home and we travelled on to St.Muirdeach’s cathedral for the ceremony.Due to poor weather conditions on the day of the wedding, we decided to schedule a day a few weeks after the wedding to do the creative shoot!

We skipped the creative shoot which usually is scheduled to take place while the guests have their drinks reception. It gave the couple more time to mingle with their guests and I had the opportunity to capture even more of the reception than usual. We had the creative shoot in Enniscrone a few months after the wedding, which worked really well! Congratulations to Maria and Phelim and thank you for letting me be a part of your day!
