Breaffy House Hotel: Laura and Shane

Like many couples of 2021, Laura and Shane had to adapt their wedding plans due to Covid. At the time of their wedding, the maximum number of guests allowed to attend a ceremony and reception was 50 guests in Ireland. The church they were getting married in was small and perfectly suited to the intimate ceremony.

It was a scorching hot day with the sun beaming from early morning. I took some shots while the bridal party got ready and headed on to Lough Talt to meet the groomsmen. Driving over to the church with the beaming sun and backdrop of mountains and lake-it was hard to believe we were in the west of Ireland! The combination of weather and idyllic landscape provided the perfect setting to ensure a beautiful wedding day.

After the ceremony there was an outdoor drinks reception, with a coffee cart and refreshments by the lakeside. Laura and Shane had their creative shots by Lough Talt with their bridal party and groomsmen. We then travelled on to Castlebar to their reception which was at Breaffy House. Congratulations to Laura and Shane!
