I had the pleasure of doing a pre wedding shoot with Jenny and Noel with a woodland theme the month before their wedding. I always recommend doing a pre wedding shoot. Firstly, it helps people get used to the camera and being photographed. I always find that the couples that have had a pre wedding shoot tend to enjoy the creative shoot a lot more on the day.

They’ve already done a shoot with me and know what to expect. It also gives them an idea of what styles and poses they like best, also what kind of angles they don’t like and how to avoid doing them on the day. After the pre wedding shoot, we had a meeting to  discuss their favourites. After this, I knew exactly what Jenny and Noel were looking for with their wedding images.

I captured some shots of Jenny and her bridal party the morning of the wedding and then went on to the church to get some shots of the groom and his groomsmen outside the church. After the ceremony and a quick stop off in a local pub, we travelled to Westport where the couple had chosen Westport Woods as their reception venue.

After an effortless creative shoot in the hotel’s surrounding gardens the reception took place into the early hours surrounded by family and friends of the newlyweds. Congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Kelly for a beautiful wedding!
