Radisson Blu Sligo Wedding | Emma Gallagher & Paul McLoughlin
Emma and Paul’s wedding day was one of those celebrations where emotion, elegance, and great fun came together effortlessly. From a relaxed morning at home, to a heartfelt church ceremony, and finishing with a lively evening at the Radisson Blu Hotel Sligo, their day was full of meaningful moments and unforgettable energy.
The morning began at Paul’s parents’ home in Ballaghaderreen, where the lads were getting ready. There was an easy, relaxed buzz in the house as suits were adjusted, final touches were made, and anticipation quietly built for the day ahead. It was a calm start, setting the tone for what was to come. From there, I made my way to Emma’s family home near Kilkelly, Co Mayo, where hair and makeup were still in full swing. While preparations continued, I focused on capturing the finer details, Emma’s stunning wedding dress, her accessories, and the small elements that help tell the story of the day.

Wedding Morning Near Kilkelly, Co Mayo

Once Emma was ready, one of the most emotional moments of the day unfolded as her dad, admittedly a little camera shy, saw his daughter in her wedding dress for the first time. It was a genuinely heartfelt moment, full of pride and emotion, and one that perfectly set the tone for the rest of the day.
These quiet moments during the wedding morning often become some of the most meaningful memories, filled with connection, anticipation, and love.
St Joseph’s Church, Urlaur Wedding Ceremony

The ceremony took place at St Joseph’s Church in Urlaur, where Emma and Paul exchanged vows surrounded by their family and friends. The setting was warm and intimate, creating a beautiful atmosphere filled with love, laughter, and quiet emotion.
It was a meaningful ceremony that reflected Emma and Paul perfectly, personal, heartfelt, and deeply connected to the people around them.
Wedding Photos at Urlaur Abbey
Following the ceremony, Emma and Paul added a touch of style and personality to the day by leaving in classic sports cars before making their way to Urlaur Abbey. The Abbey provided a breathtaking backdrop for wedding portraits, with its peaceful lake and historic surroundings offering the perfect setting for relaxed and romantic photographs.
The calm of Urlaur Abbey allowed Emma and Paul a moment together to take everything in, creating natural portraits that reflected the joy of the day.

Radisson Blu Hotel Sligo Wedding Celebration
The celebrations continued at the Radisson Blu Hotel Sligo, where Emma and Paul’s wedding reception truly came to life. The Radisson Blu is a popular choice for weddings in Sligo, offering a welcoming atmosphere and a space that allows the evening to unfold effortlessly.
As the night went on, the reception was filled with laughter, heartfelt speeches, and a packed dancefloor. The energy was taken to another level by the fantastic Pixel Wedding Band, who kept everyone dancing well into the night.
From a photography point of view, a Radisson Blu Sligo wedding offers a great balance of elegance and ease, allowing couples to enjoy their celebration while everything flows naturally around them.
