Edel and Mark had a beautiful ceremony as well as reception in Markree Castle in Sligo. I captured the bridal preparations in the family home of Edel, before travelling to Markree Castle to photograph Mark and his groomsmen.

Markree Castle have a chapel on site, with all the features of a traditional church building. I always stress to my couple’s the importance of keeping timings between locations as short as possible to enable as much time with wedding guests as possible. So the ceremony and reception encompassed within the one beautiful venue was ideal. Our creative shoot took place both onsite in the castle and around the gardens. 

A fantastic wedding feast followed by some sparklers shots in the courtyard while the newlyweds took to the dance floor for their first dance as husband and wife. It was a beautiful wedding from start to finish and a pleasure to be asked to be your wedding photographer. Congratulations Edel and Mark!
