Diamond Coast, Enniscrone : Deirdre and Eddie
New Years Eve is always one of the dates in my calendar that books up straight away! It always has such a great atmosphere and is a really great day for a wedding. I travelled to Eddie’s home first to capture his preparations with his groomsmen and family. Deirdre had had a jersey from his GAA team signed and framed as a wedding gift. When I arrived to the bride’s family home we discovered he had arranged for the exact same wedding gift -from her GAA team- for her!
After some family photos we travelled to Templeboy for the ceremony. Deirdre and Eddie had a traditional church ceremony, surrounded by family and friends. We were ideally located for some creative shots in Aughris Head, in and around The Beach Bar and coastal walk. The reception was at The Diamond Coast, where Deirdre and Eddie were welcomed with a sparklers guard of honour by their guests.
After a drinks reception including music played by the bride and guests, a great meal and speeches, I captured the bride and grooms first dance as newly weds. The Diamond Coast did an amazing job as always, and the guests congregated to ring in the New Year with the newlyweds. Congratulations Deirdre and Eddie, and thank you for choosing me to be your wedding photographer!
