Jessica and Damien’s wedding was at the beginning of December and my first of the Christmas wedding season. I travelled to Damien’s house first to capture some shots of him and his groomsmen. After this, I went on to Jessica’s house to capture bridal prep and portraits. Christmas weddings always have a brilliant atmosphere as well as ambience with all the Christmas decor, such a great time of year for celebrating a wedding!

The traditional church ceremony took place in Gurteen surrounded by family and friends. We travelled a short distance into Sligo for the reception which took place in the Castle Dargan. We had arranged for the creative shots to take place in and around the hotel due to the time of year. The Castle Dargan is a beautiful location and worked as a perfect backdrop for the creative images. I stayed to capture the speeches and after the meal had finished, the first dance. It was a great wedding from start to finish and thank you so much to Jessica and Damien for choosing me to be a part of it – Congratulations Mr and Mrs Coleman!
