A lot of my spring weddings are shot  along the Wild Atlantic Way coastline so It was a pleasure to travel to Tipperary and shoot a different landscape.

The couple had chosen Ashley Park House in Tipperary for their ceremony and reception. After the bridal prep shots in the brides home, we travelled to Nenagh by Lough Ourna where the historic country house is situated.

The spiritual ceremony was set in The Boathouse. This large room looks right out onto the lake and with the glass walls surrounding it gives the impression of the building floating in the middle of the lake. After the vows were exchanged the couple held an outdoor drinks reception which gave them the opportunity to mingle with their guests under the trees surrounded by gardens at the front of the house.

We took advantage of the beautiful locations surrounding the house including the pier and walled gardens for the creative shots. When evening came the wedding feast was in the lakeside pavilion followed by music and drinks reception. Donna and Eugene were blessed with a beautiful day from start to finish for the wedding – Congratulations to the happy couple !
